Seeing is buying: your cup encourages sales

When talking about brand perception and sales stimulation, it's no secret that the power of visual presence plays an important role. Making your brand visible is essential for increasing customer engagement, but how do you put it to practical use? The answer is simple: your cup can play the perfect role in this. By printing your brand on cups, you create a powerful marketing tool that not only increases visibility, but also drives sales. Navigate quickly to the topic you want to learn more about The power of brand visibility on cups Why a printed cup increases your sales Choose the right design for your cup How the right cup makes the difference What The Branding Club can do for your cup experience The power of brand visibility on cups It may sound simple, but visibility is powerful. By putting your brand on cups, you make it part of your customer's daily experience. Imagine this: your customer orders a drink from your tent at a festival or cafe, and the cup they hold in their hands is personalized with your logo. Every sip they take reinforces your brand. And not only do they see it; other customers see the cup too! An imprinted cup makes your brand visible multiple times, increasing the likelihood that they will remember your brand and buy from you next time, too. At The Branding Club , we help you increase that brand visibility with high-quality imprinted cups that grab immediate attention. Think reusable to-go cups that you hand out at festivals, for example, or insulated coffee cups that take pride of place in coffee shops. Why a Printed Cup Increases Your Sales Now that you know that a printed cup makes your brand visible, you may be wondering: how does this boost sales? Simple: people buy what they see. When they come across your logo repeatedly, they create an association between your brand and the positive experience they have. And this is where the magic happens: recognition often leads to purchase. Festival-goers or coffee lovers who see the mug regularly will increasingly consider your brand when they want to buy something. This not only increases loyalty, but also the likelihood that they will return to you again. At The Branding Club , we help you capitalize on sales opportunities by designing cups that are both practical and attractive. Consider foodbucket printing for events or milkshake cups that you can offer in your restaurant or café. Choose the right design for your cup A printed cup is much more than just a beverage container. It is a marketing tool. So the design should not only be functional, but also visually appealing. Bright colors, a sleek logo and clear, recognizable typography can all add to the appeal of your cup. The better the design, the stronger the impact on your customer. Whether it's a insulated coffee cup or a reusable festival cup, you want your design to evoke the right emotions. The choice of material and color plays an important role in this. Not only should the cups be practical, but they should also reflect the mood of your brand. How the right cup makes a difference There are many different types of cups you can get printed, so choosing the right size and material can make all the difference. For festivals, reusable festival cups are often the best choice because of their durability and the fact that people take them with them as souvenirs. For coffee shops, single-wall coffee cups are ideal because they are lightweight and easy to carry. At The Branding Club , we understand that every event and occasion requires a different look. That's why we offer a wide range of cups to match your brand and goals. From ice cream cups to coffee cup sleeves to carry trays with handles, you can personalize it all to make the right impression. What The Branding Club can do for your cup experience A visually strong cup sells itself. At The Branding Club , we turn your brand design into attractive, functional cups and make sure your inventory is always right. That way, your cup reinforces every sale and keeps your brand flowing through every sip.

Festival mugs with a lasting impression

Festivals happen all year round and the memories of those festivals remain. And why not help festival goers capture those memories a little? Festival cups are often an integral part of the festival experience. Not only do they pass from hand to hand, but they are also an excellent way to reinforce your brand. In this blog, learn how to use festival cups as a powerful marketing tool. From hardcups to branding and souvenir value, we'll show you why your festival cups should be the star of your event. Navigate quickly to the topic you want to know more about Why festival cups are essential for branding Festival cups as souvenirs: more than just a mug Materials and formats: what suits your festival best? How to print festival cups that stand out? What The Branding Club can arrange for your festival cups Why festival cups are essential for branding Festival cups are not just drinking accessories, they are mobile billboards visible everywhere. When festival-goers hold a cup, your brand is literally pressed into the hands of your target audience. This makes them a powerful tool to reinforce brand perception. And this effect doesn't stop at the festival itself. The cups are often taken home, as souvenirs, keeping your brand visible long after the event. At The Branding Club , we understand how important it is to present your brand in the right way. Festival cups can contribute surprisingly subtly to the atmosphere of your event, while simultaneously reinforcing your brand. Whether you choose reusable festival cups or to-go cups, they all contribute to a positive brand experience. Festival cups as souvenirs: more than just a mug You know the drill: the festival-goers who leave the grounds with their mugs, happy to take something tangible with them from the experience. Festival cups are therefore not only practical, but also a souvenir of the experience. They last through time and remain a reminder of the festival. This makes them an excellent choice for long-term branding. The reusable cups you hand out during the festival ensure that your brand remains visible during and after the event. Guests take the cups home and often even use them daily at home. So with printed cups, you create a lasting memory that relives the festival feeling, even long after the event is over. Materials and sizes: what suits your festival best? When choosing festival cups, you need to think not only about the design, but also the material and size. The right material affects the usability and durability of the cup. At The Branding Club , we offer a wide range of options, from hard cups for a premium look, to eco-friendly to-go cups for eco-conscious festival goers. If you're looking for something sturdy, insulated coffee cups are an excellent choice, ideal for hot beverages. When it comes to sizes, you can choose the standard sizes of reusable festival cups or other sizes that fit the exact style of your festival. Big or small, the important thing is that your cup is convenient to use and fits well in your hand. How do you print festival cups that stand out? Design is everything when it comes to festival cups. You want your brand to stand out among the crowd and appeal to your festival guests. Choose bright colors, playful designs, and clean logos that make your brand easily recognizable. Consider using seasonal elements or a limited edition design to give your cups extra value. At The Branding Club , we'll make sure your design comes into its own. You can provide your own design or collaborate with our designers to create something unique. Our team makes sure you receive print proofs quickly, so you can confirm that everything is just right. Disposable plastic banned: what do the SUP rules mean?

You quickly want to know what is and is not allowed when it comes to plastic packaging, what has changed and will change, and which packaging is best to choose today. In this blog, you'll read what the current SUP rules mean, how to avoid risks and how to keep working tightly as a brand with packaging that does fit your business. Navigate quickly to the topic you want to know more about What is covered by the SUP rules? What has already gone into effect in the Netherlands? What will change in 2026? What does this mean for your packaging? Smart products that strengthen your brand What The Branding Club does to make your brand distinctive What is covered by the SUP rules? The European SUP directive focuses on disposable products that are entirely or partially made of plastic. This means that paper or cardboard with a thin plastic barrier can also fall within this scope. So paper cups with plastic coating also count. Additional requirements apply to specific product groups. For example, there are mandatory markings for certain products, including drinking cups, that make it clear that the product contains plastic. Labels prevent confusion for your guest or customer and this is one of the things we help you with at The Branding Club Club! What has already gone into effect in the Netherlands? The Netherlands has translated the SUP guidelines into national rules. The most important guidelines are: no free distribution of plastic containing cups and containers at pick-up and delivery since 2023, and no disposable cups or containers with plastic when consumed on site since 2024. In addition, the EU requirement that caps on beverage containers be fixed to the bottle applies. The line is clear: reuse where possible, less disposable where necessary. What will change by 2026? The government has announced that the mandatory extra charge at to-go for plastic-containing cups and containers will be abolished. The obligation to offer a reusable alternative will remain. The intended effective date is 2026 and the entry into force depends on the parliamentary procedure. What does this mean concretely for your packaging? Probably your goal is brand consistency and compliance. That requires clear choices per channel and we at The Branding Club Club know all about that. On site Serve without using disposable plastic and work with reusable packaging. For example, choose printed glass tableware or all-paper food solutions. To go Already you have the freedom of choice in price and material, but pay attention to the SUP definition. A coated paper cup still falls under the rules. Communicate your reusable option clearly and offer a smooth path for your own cups or trays. Branding and marking Drinking cups are subject to mandatory SUP marking. Integrate the icons into your design so that your brand remains sleek and you are compliant. Good design is also compliance by design. Smart products that reinforce your brand You shift gears fastest by applying solutions that fit both the rules and your brand story. Food to go and delivery Choose printed shipping boxes for e-commerce and combine with cardboard envelopes for flat items. If you work with donations, gift boxes or magnetic boxes give your brand the premium look you want. With these, unwrapping the packages becomes an experience for your customers. Hospitality and events Within food packaging, choose solutions that fit your service flow. Think of pizza boxes, hamburger trays, French fry trays, salad bowls, ice cream cups, wok to go cups or a kids' box. Every package carries your story, from counter to doormat. Reuse as standard Make repeat use visible with reusable foodbowls and the reusable burger box. And combine these packages with short return instructions to reduce waste. This way you reduce waste. What The Branding Club does to make your brand distinctive New regulations are not a barrier, but an opportunity. At The Branding Club Club, we advise on sustainable and compliant packaging, create designs that stand out and comply with SUP guidelines, and take care of production and logistics. This is how to make an impact in a responsible, effective and recognizable way.

How to comply with SUP rules for disposable plastic cups and containers

New rules require clear choices. In the Netherlands, you may not offer disposable cups or containers containing plastic for consumption on location. For take-out and delivery, the law offers room, but changes are coming in 2026. With the right mix of reusable, plastic-free and smart accessories, you'll stay well within the lines and strengthen your brand. Navigate quickly to the topic you want to know more about What the SUP rules mean for your business What's allowed for consumption on location What's allowed for take-away and delivery Markings and choice of materials in brief Practical options from our collection Quickly check if you're on the right track What does the government say exactly Quick start with The Branding Club Club What the SUP rules mean for your business The Dutch rules originate from the European SUP directive. The goal: significantly less disposable plastic in circulation, more reuse and better recycling. The Netherlands aims for forty percent less disposable plastic cups and containers in 2026 compared to 2022. Important to know: the government has evaluated the rules and announced clarifications towards 2026. For example, the location rules will remain firm, while adjustments will be made on the on-the-go side for greater clarity. Until then, the current rules and the principle of reusable where possible apply. What is allowed for on-the-go consumption Serve at the office, in a restaurant or in the canteen: no disposable cups or containers containing plastic. Reusable products are the norm. There is a limited exception for paper or cardboard packaging containing up to five percent plastic, but only if you meet strict conditions. Therefore, the easiest route remains the use of reusable tableware or completely plastic-free disposables. What's allowed in take-out and delivery For take-away and delivery, you must offer a reusable alternative and a surcharge applied to disposables containing plastic. Enforcement on this has been temporarily adjusted and the government is working on clearer amounts and exceptions. The direction is clear, but the details will change starting in 2026. So check the official information regularly and plan your purchasing ahead accordingly. Markings and material selection in brief If you offer single-use cups with plastic component, then a mandatory marking with the "turtle logo" is required. This also applies to coated paper cups. Transparency towards your guest and correct waste management are part of this. At The Branding Club we can help you with this. Practical options from our collection You want to comply with the rules and at the same time create a consistent brand experience. That's easy with the right products. 1) Reusable products for on-site and events Go for reusable carriers that can take a beating and print tightly. Reusable festival cups and reusable to-go cups are made for heavy use, return and cleaning. At peak traffic, combine them with a deposit system or collection point at the bar. Reusable is the standard here and the most future-proof choice. 2) Heat comfort and branding at coffee to stay and to go Choose insulated coffee cups for extra insulation at to go or single wall coffee cups with coffee cup sleeves when your design changes frequently. Are you working on-site fully reusable? Then use these products for pickup and delivery within the legal framework. We always respect the template and weld seam so that your logo comes out nicely. 3) Cold specials with a view of your product For shakes and ice cream, milkshake cups and ice cream cups are ideal. If you want to work at the table with reuse and speed, add carry trays or carry trays with handles. That way you keep service fast, neat and recognizable. 4) Foodservice that flows From sides and sauces to shared bites, sauce cups and a generous foodbucket let you serve consistently in style. Choose reuse or plastic-free for each situation, depending on the location and your collection system. The rules vary depending on the time of use, but your brand experience will remain unified with The Branding Club as your partner. Check out the entire collection of cups to print and request a quote for the products that fit your location and the story you want to convey. Quick check to see if you're in the right place Location check: use reusable on location. Possibly only under strict conditions a paper variant with minimal coating and demonstrable recycling. Take-away check: offer reusable alternative. Take into account the announced adjustments as of 2026 and follow the government pages for the final amounts and exceptions. Marking check: do you use disposables with a plastic component? Put the mandatory marking correctly on the cup. What exactly does the government say There is a ban on disposables with plastic when consumed on-site and a roadmap towards less disposables on-the-go. Temporary enforcement line and exceptions for paper or cardboard with up to five percent plastic in high collection and proven recyclability. There is a clear target and timeline through 2026, including announced adjustments for clearer on-the-go rules Getting started with The Branding Club If you choose The Branding Club, you choose service from design to shipping. We advise you on the right product mix within SUP rules, provide print-ready advice and produce with attention to detail.
